MUSICAL THEATRE

Musical Theatre is the very heart and soul of Park Street and it offers amazing opportunities for all students involved. Students are given a chance to audition, rehearse and perform in high quality productions whilst learning the fundamentals of becoming a professional performer. Musical Theatre focuses on uniting singing, dancing and acting together under one discipline. From the ensemble, to the main characters, students will build confidence and have incredible fun in the process.

DRAMA

 

Drama is the very bedrock of Performing Arts and the skills developed within the discipline of theatre can be taken into all walks of life, as well as into other areas of the Arts. At Park Street we pride ourselves on developing creative and innovative drama that has been critically heralded across the region. It is growing in popularity exponentially within the region and Park Street are proud to be at the forefront of reinventing and reinvigorating this genre.

SINGING

 

Private singing lessons are available under the tuition of Emily Fox & Zoe Kenington.

DANCE

 

Our DanceWorks Troupe classes are for our Junior and Intermediate students to work on dance fundamentals, focusing on the basics to ready our performers for show choreography.

MUSICAL FITNESS

Our very own, musical-inspired dance fitness class - for all ages and abilities - have fun, get fit!

SEN

 

Our dedicated SEN Musical Theatre class. We sing a whole bunch of upbeat songs and learn routines to our favourite musical hits. Working towards regular showcase performances.

HOME ED

 

Musical Theatre classes for Home Educated children.

TECH

 

TechWorks is our one-of-a-kind technical class delivered by industry professionals, covering the inner workings of a theatre, with training in lighting, sound and more - students then go on to run the tech for our productions, with trips to other venues and work on external shows too.
